About Zentangle and my first design

Hi everyone.....

I thought I would talk about Zentangle and what it means:

Zen means relax and Tangle is just that tangling designs together... the original zentangle are done on a 3.5"x3.5" piece of art paper which is called a tile. This size allows a pieces of art work to be finished in relatively short time. This method is a meditative art form. Doing a small piece you don't need a rubber because there are no mistakes in Zentangle. This method allows you to do anything you like on the tile..

The Zentangle Method is easy to do, relaxing, and lots of fun to create beautiful images, by drawing simple patterns together..
Almost anyone can do it. You will create stunning, beautiful images. You can be as simple or very complex with your designs..
The Zentangle Method is enjoyed all over the world by many of all ages, this method is great for children ( my grandson loves it) It is also open for a range of skills from beginners who have never done any type of art form, to experts who just want to try something new

Creating Zentangle art provides a fun and great way to relax.

Everything you need for Zentangle is very Portable.... you don't need a large art pad, you can use a small one so that you can do it anytime of the day... waiting for the kids after school, at the football, having a cuppa at McDonalds absolutely anywhere...

Today I'm going show you my very first Zentangle..

This is my Heart.... not knowing what to do at the time I just found some patterns online and went for it...  it was so much fun I was hooked

this close up will allow you to see the patterns clearly...

yes I don't do tiles as they are called because I love working on the larger scale... I will be loading some of my other designs....

so have fun checking out Zentangles and enjoy the challenge

Lately I try to makeup my own patterns...
